OUR PHILOSOPHY

Frisco Lakes Montessori follows the Montessori Method for early childhood development. The founder of this education philosophy, Dr. Maria Montessori, posited that young children have immense learning potential. She developed Montessori academics that emphasized the role of specialized teachers and unique learning materials to stimulate the child’s mind. She understood the innate desire of children to learn should be cultivated during their most formative years. Instilling these values at an early age produces a lifelong love of learning that will carry over to adulthood. At Frisco Lakes Montessori, we highlight the benefits of Montessori education, and our structure allows students to learn through independent exploration at their own pace.

OUR COMMITMENT

Frisco Lakes Montessori is committed to cultivating an exceptional, nurturing, and supportive learning space where children are allowed to grow at their own pace with continuous progress. Our Montessori environment nourishes and channels each student’s love of learning, enabling them to reach their full potential as they develop into self-confident, responsible individuals.

Based on Montessori academics, our spacious, clean, and distraction-free classrooms feature basic learning areas in the “prepared environment.” This includes Language Arts, Math, Sensorial, and Practical Life. Our Cultural Subjects include Science, History, and Geography. All students participate in Enrichment programs like Chess, Gym, Art, Music, Yoga, Spanish, and Computers. By providing a balanced curriculum, we can support each child’s emotional, physical, academic, and social development.
